Great traditional German food. A great place to kick off our trip to Germany!

Nice ambience. Food OK, but not knocking you out. The lady who served was super stressed and made it clear to all guests.

Very nice place and good food. The only criticism - the toilets. Unfortunately, the toilets were bitterly cold. It's also uncomfortable when you sit on the toilet and see other people through the milky glass partition. Unfortunately, the gap between the door is so big that you can watch the people behind it.

We were already at a quarter to 6 in the evening here, it was pleasantly empty and we were served quickly and courteously! Very pleasant with children. Otherwise it is better to reserve here in advance. Everything tasted great!

Very very good german food for cheap prices! The friendly staff is also a big plus. Definitely recommend this place if you're hungry for some authentic german food!

Delicious eaten over lunch. Nice personel. The weekly lunch menu is highly recommended. Also for the wallet. Man sitting in a courtyard. We liked the food was good.

The kitchen was excellent when we visited. Not cheap but definitely worth the price.

Were there on Saturday, September 12th, 2020 to celebrate the baptism. Food was bad and burnt, we waited 1.45 hours for it and not even the entire table got the food at the same time. Drinks if you ordered it would have been better you would have ordered another drink right away, as long as they waited for it. Badly organized and only 1 service for 42 men, much too overpriced in my opinion and that of the guests. SORRRRRY is not okay to see me again ..... especially the cordon bleu was really bad tough and burnt and charge 22 € and the salad extra, all without words ....

Very nice location with a great ambience. We had the knuckle and it was great. The service was also always courteous and nice.

The waitresses are deeply delightful and extremely obliging every time. That gives me and my husband a lot of joy every time I visit. I think the selection is broad and so far most of what I have been served in front of me has tasted perfectly fine. The armchairs are extremely pleasant and the distance between them I find tables very appropriate. There you don't get the feeling of eating cucumber in a can in the evening. I can only recommend this place!

Very very very recommendable, an inconspicuous entrance to this restaurant with a wonderfully beautiful courtyard. We ate Schäuferle with homemade spaetzle and loved it. The ambience is a dream! We'll be back, thanks for the super nice service.

Snacks in a beautiful rustic ambience, which invites you to linger.

Went here for lunch and had the Cordon Bleu. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either, somewhere in the middle. Atmosphere is nice, quiet and peaceful. A little high in price for the good quality, but the friendly staff and the atmosphere make up for that. Will recommend to others. Decided to eat outside instead of inside, as it was a nice courtyard.

Classical Franconian food. Can be too loud (also classic traditional local restaurants), but lots of space inside. Perfectly located right above the river. Good service, rather fast

We stayed here on New Years evening. We ate very well, drank excellent beer, all in a beautiful atmosphere. I advise you to book, it can be done via email (we have booked it from here) especially if you come during the holidays (since everything else is closed). They don't have a New Year's Eve dinner, but this is an all-Italian characteristic 🙂 Average prices for all restaurants in Nuremberg (spicy sausages from 8 to 10 euros with side dish)

Such a nice atmosphere with tasteful dishes and a warm hospitality!Also,they have beautiful Christmas decorations!Its location is worth-mentioning,as it is above Pegnitz river.

Good spot let down by staff and food. Very touristy place. Food not fresh save yourself some money and grief and get bratwursts from food stand on the street in old town. Waiter made me feel so bad that i didnt want to ask for a check. Once got to payment was almost bullied in leaving a tip. Personal opinion but avoid so many better places for food in Nurnberg.

One of the most authentic places you must visit in Nuremberg. Staff is professional, but sometimes you can get a cold attitude. Cards accepted.

A big disappointment! We went there on Saturday evening and we were all totally disappointed by the terrible food and rude staff. They had got our order wrong and were very rude when I approached them and tried to get it right. Onion soup didn’t taste anything like onion soup not even talking about the weird service - some of us had already finished their food when others hadn’t even received their food. When ordering steak nobody had asked how we’d like to have it done and it basically tasted like chewing gum, totally overdone. When we complained to a waiter he basically said he doesn’t care that we’re not satisfied. 4 of us were already finished with dinner when one of us was still waiting for their main so we went to complain, yet again, when we were told they are simply just busy and gave us schnitzle which even wasn’t for our table! After all they tried to charge me for food I had ordered but never received as they messed up our order. The best part of this whole experience was their food presentation, it was so ridiculous that we had to take picture! The only good thing about this place is the location everything else it’s disaster!

Terrible food and just the worst service. Tourist trap- avoid!! Many better German restaurants near by.
